The Parklangley Club is open for business as usual  except for outdoor courts.

Access to the club is good with Wickham Way easily drivable.

Car parks at Parklangley are open and largely clear – further gritting is going on as I write.

The pathways at the Club are all clear

The Club will be open as usual this evening  with kitchen and bar open as normal.

This is a trial event and, depending on the popularity, we hope to make this a permanent club night for mixed doubles racketball.  Courts are booked out from 6.45pm till late.  Just turn up and play!!

Come on ladies don’t let the side down, it’s only a bit of fun!  If the night turns out to be really popular we could possibly do 2 club nights in the month – let’s wait and see.

So put the date in your diary, Friday 10th February - 6.45pm onwards.

We are delighted to advise you that the Parklangley Mini Tennis Series and Mini Series Masters Tournament will be sponsored throughout 2012 by Yakult. These events are aimed at giving members of the Parklangley Club and other Clubs an introduction to and experience of competitive tennis. These events are aimed at giving all of the entrants, beginner/intermediate level competition that is good fun, good experience and a chance to meet and to play other people, both from Parklangley and from other clubs.

The Yakult Mini Tennis Series tournaments are the opportunity to score points to qualify for the Yakult Mini Series Masters Tournament that will be held on the 27th and 28th December. This prestigious event will showcase the top players from the qualifying Yakult Mini Tennis Series (LTA Grade 5) events in each ball category during 2012, and has been given Grade 4 status.
