Our Ivy Suite is available for hire. We can cater for any type of event (although we do not cater for 18th or 21st birthday parties) such as birthday parties, anniversaries, reunions, christenings, dinner dances and wedding receptions.

We can seat up to 160 people or hold functions for up to 250 people – although the average size function has about 80 guests. There is a lift and disabled toilet facilities.

The club has its own very well equipped kitchen and all food is provided by the club, from 3 course wedding breakfast to finger buffet.

Children’s Parties

The Parklangley Club will be happy to host your children’s birthday parties. We offer a flexible package to cater for all your needs.

Package details:

  • Large hall (3 courts)
  • Studio

To help protect the floor surface of the large hall, our policy is that children should change into clean trainers that are different from the ones they arrive in. We would be grateful if you could help us in this matter.

We offer dance-, gymnastics- and sports-themed parties, or combinations of these activities to suit every age group.

Because of the nature of our parties, assistant helpers will also be required. How many helpers needed depends on the type of party, age of the children and the size of the party – the minimum is three assistants. We want to make sure that your child has a wonderful experience and therefore do not wish to reduce our standards by being understaffed.

Additional services available at an extra cost include:

  • Face painting
  • Arts & crafts
  • Make-up
  • Discos

These will all be discussed with you at time of booking.

The choice on the day will consist of:

  • Chicken nuggets/fish fingers/pizza/sausage with chips
  • Ice Cream
  • Orange and blackcurrant squash

Please note that special dietary requirements and ‘parent platters’are also available and can be discussed at time of booking.

Friday afternoon, Saturday or Sunday. All parties are two hours. Parents are asked to provide their own room decorations, which can be set up in the 15 minute period before the party begins.

We would like the parent to supply:
  • Cake & candles
  • Balloons / ‘happy birthday’ banner
  • Party bags
Please note that we charge a non-refundable booking fee to secure the hall preventing further bookings, and to cover the cost of administration at time of booking; final payment to be paid either by cash or credit card immediately after the party has finished.
