ABOUT THE
PARKLANGLEY CLUB
A WELCOME FROM
OUR CLUB MANAGER
A very warm welcome. I trust you're enjoying your time exploring The Parklangley Club website and finding everything you need. However, it's challenging to capture online the full scope of our club's activities and facilities.
We take immense pride in our facilities and are committed to maintaining them at the highest standard possible. Recently, we've made significant investments to enhance our playing and training experiences. For instance, we've introduced the Wingfield tennis system, which revolutionises traditional tennis courts into smart playing fields, offering an interactive experience like no other. Additionally, we've installed an Interactive squash system on one of our courts, providing a unique and enjoyable playing experience with fun games and specialised training activities.

THE FIRST
CLUBHOUSE
The first Parklangley clubhouse was built in 1911. It has been speculated that the original owners had ambitious plans for an elegant and grandiose club-house but lacked the funds to fulfil their dream, in the end settling for simple and practical.

RENEWING
The first clubhouse finally met its Waterloo after servicing the club for 63 years, being demolished in 1974 and replaced with the second Parklangley clubhouse. The clubhouse had character, by day windows flooded the interior with a soft light, and at night, despite its basic appearance, the low ceiling and soft lighting gave it a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

A CLUB
RICH IN HISTORY
With a legacy spanning over a century, The Parklangley Club was established in 1911, starting from modest origins and quickly becoming a cherished institution in Beckenham. Despite its unassuming exterior, the clubhouse holds a wealth of storied history within its walls. Since its inception, the club has thrived on the solidarity and support of its members, embodying a spirit of community and self-sufficiency. This ethos has remained steadfast over the years, contributing to the club's ongoing success. A closer look reveals the dedication of countless individuals who tirelessly contribute to the club's unique charm and atmosphere.
PARKLANGLEY IS
MORE THAN JUST A CLUB
With a total of 16 on-site tennis courts and the management of 34 off-site courts under our Tennis For Free Bromley scheme, boasting a membership of nearly 16,000 tennis players accessing our courts and leagues for just £25 per year, we strive to provide unparalleled opportunities for our members.
The Parklangley Club is more than just a club; it's a home away from home for many of our members. I encourage you to continue exploring our website and then visit us in person to experience firsthand all that we have to offer.
