The Parklangley Club, Bromley Wendover, Old Dunstonians & Wickham Park
All lessons are due to go ahead
With the warm weather forecast, we wanted to provide some information regarding our tennis lessons and the measures we will be taking to ensure all players remain safe and comfortable on court.
Lessons will continue as scheduled; however, we will adapt activities where necessary to account for the heat. This may include more frequent water breaks, shorter high-intensity drills, and additional opportunities for players to rest in shaded areas.
To help your child prepare, please ensure they:
Bring a large water bottle, preferably filled with cold water.
Wear appropriate lightweight sports clothing.
Apply sunscreen before arriving.
Bring a hat or visor if possible.
Have eaten and hydrated adequately before their lesson.
Our coaches will monitor all players closely for any signs of heat-related illness. If a player appears unwell, they will be removed from activity and parents will be contacted if necessary.
If your child has any medical conditions that may be affected by hot weather, please let us know in advance.
The health and wellbeing of our players is our priority, and we appreciate your support in helping everyone stay safe while enjoying their tennis.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
